About The Patio Bistro

Since opening in 2000, The Patio Bistro has grown into far more than just a restaurant — it has become a beloved part of the Waynesville community. After years in the restaurant industry and several previous ventures, there was always something special about this place. In 2006, after buying out her partner and taking full ownership, she then dedicated herself fully to growing The Patio Bistro into the warm and welcoming destination it is today.

Through the challenges of seasonal mountain tourism, long winters, and raising two young boys as a hardworking mother, she never stopped fighting for the business she loved. Year after year, she kept the doors open, the patio blooming with flowers, and the atmosphere inviting for both locals and returning visitors who made the restaurant part of their traditions in Waynesville.

Today, over 26 years later, The Patio Bistro stands as a vibrant reflection of her passion, resilience, and love for hospitality. Known for fresh upscale deli favorites including homemade soups, salads, wraps, quiche, melts, and sandwiches, the restaurant continues to bring people together with the same small-town charm and heartfelt hospitality that built its foundation from the very beginning.
